Nothing short of Magic!
Shane and Maddie's love story started in high school-Maddy took the initiative and SnapChatted Shane. They have been best friends ever since and that connection turned into a deep love for each other.
Shane is a pro baseball player and is currently on a farm team for the San Fransisco Giants. That is how I first met him, we hosted him for a summer when he was a player for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. That was also the summer that we had the Total Eclipse, which is how we met Maddie. Her and her mom drove down for the eclipse and stayed with us. It was so wonderful to get to know both of these amazing people and I was thrilled when Shane popped the question and asked Maddie to marry him!
Planning a styled shoot near Forks, Washington in early February is fairly risky weather wise. It was calling for heavy rain leading up to the shoot and we were planning on fully embracing it! Instead we had the most amazing weather-however it was a bit chilly with a pretty amazing wind! Maddie was amazing-bare foot and in a very thin (but beautiful) dress for hours.
I loved working with Blooms and Twine Floral!
Katie made the most gorgeous, earthy bouquet and centerpiece.
Not to mention she is just a super cool person!
I was also thrilled to work with Everglow Handmade again. Rachel is seriously talented with pen and paper!
And honestly I could not have created this amazing look without the help from For the Love of Pete Rentals. Seriously impressed with their selection, prices and service! If you are looking for amazing decorations-check them out.
It was such a dream come true to style this session. I am still pinching myself! Bring on those adventurous engagement sessions!
