July Monthly Goals
July is where it really starts to feel like summer around here. And summer is my all time favorite! I am packing this month full of fun, family and photo shoots!
June Goals Recap:
Alright everyone, I am seriously on the struggle bus when it comes to my exercising! I am back to running at least one day per week and my hubs and I are doing what we can during the week-but I will admit it's not much. Photo editing is not conducive to movement, lol! One thing that I have made an intention to do is eat more plant based. I think that might be the only thing keeping me looking somewhat normal.
June was full of celebrations! My birthday was great-fairly mellow, which is not the norm for me, but I really enjoyed my time with family and friends. My youngest graduated! We celebrated my Husband for being an amazing father! Both boys started new jobs! My sister is now a foster parent! Lots of excitement all around!
And with the great weather came lots of great photo sessions! I partnered with The Keene Group for a client appreciation event, took photos for Camp Silver Creek Alumni Associations golf tournament, celebrated Lexie and Tenn with a beautiful engagement session at Cape Kiwanda, adventured all over with some wonderful families and seniors.

Pinterest is finally coming around...slowly. The new Instagram algorithm is totally baffling, but I will say that I am so thankful for these app's! The ability to connect people all over and make those lasting relationships is simply beautiful! I was able to make friends with a photographer from Whitefish, MT and take her families photos while she vacationed here in Oregon. It was a beautiful night!
July Goals!
Personal Goals:
- Me and my hubby are headed out for a one night backpacking trip! This will be his first time and I am beyond stoked for the time in the outdoors. And for the desert we bought-seriously go check out Mountain House's Raspberry Crumble! So nummy!
- Catch a Volcanoes baseball game. This one might be elusive for me, as we have to line up schedules. But we really enjoyed hosting players in the past, and I would love to show my support still!
- Go see Toy Story 4. Silly goal-but when all of your free time is going to editing nowadays, stopping to watch a movie with the whole family really is a goal! Lol!
Business Goals:
- Blog at least three times this month (this equals one!!).
- I am so excited to be planning an epic adventure styled shoot (actually two of them) at the end of the month. These are such a labor of love, but oh-so rewarding! I can't wait to show you photos...you better believe that these will have their own blog posts.
- Continue working on my SEO and Pinterest account. To be honest, this will probably always be a goal.
- I am also headed to Mt. Rainier for some time with my favorite photography ladies! When the three of us get together, magic is bound to happen.
- Make some magic with the amazing sessions this month, including some cap/gowns, customer appreciation events, seniors and families!
